Inventory of Land Stewardship Initiatives

The Inventory of Land Stewardship Initiatives in Spain aims to diagnose the current situation of this nature conservation tool in our country and update its main data.

It is the main source of information on land stewardship, allowing us to understand its scope and evolution. Therefore, it is a reference document on the trajectory of land stewardship in Spain. According to the latest inventory, 3,100 agreements from 219 entities were collected, covering an area of almost 600,000 hectares.

To collaborate in preparing the inventory, interested entities can send an email to custodiaterritorio@fundacion-biodiversidad.es. They will be given details of the procedure to follow in each case.

Meeting places and resources

The Land Stewardship Platform promotes the creation of meeting spaces that foster the exchange of experiences and cooperation between land stewardship networks and entities, as well as public administrations, the private sector, landowners, and users.

Thus, conferences, seminars, and events are organised to promote alliances and raise awareness of land stewardship as a management tool for the conservation of natural, cultural, and landscape resources.

In news and agenda you can consult the latest news and the calendar of events.

On the other hand, in the resources section you can consult publications, reports, didactic materials and tools on land stewardship generated not only by Fundación Biodiversidad but also by other reference organizations.
